Mostly the accommodation listed below will require a minimum stay - for most it is 28 nights - some will accept a shorter stay, however the weekly rent usually creeps up with a shorter stay. The average stay booking by our customers in about 6 weeks to 2 months.

What size apartment do I need for my stay in Sydney?
Sydney offers a variety of accommodation styles. Naturally for an elongated stay in Sydney - the most comfortable lodging option would be a furnished apartment.

Having said that, the facilities in studio apartments will vary greatly from property to property. Some Hotels will offer well equipped studios with full kitchen and laundry facilities - it is more often that the studio is a glorified hotel room with basic kitchenette facilities and a lounge chair identifying the living space.
The other options are One and Two Bedroom Apartments. These kinds of accommodation tend to be more comfortable for more than one occupant and for longer stays as they provide separate bedrooms from the living and cooking areas and in most cases, offer a self-contained living experience with fully equipped and internal laundry and entertainment area. How much will I pay for my long-stay accommodation in Sydney?
Sydney is an expensive city. Even for those residents in Sydney who rent an unfurnished apartment for a 6 or 12 month lease and pay a bond - prices are not cheap. The rarity of available rental accommodation has pushed prices up and even for apartment rentals through a real estate agent in the centre of the city - one can expect to pay in excess of $500 per week for a one bedroom apartment with additional bond and no services.
If you expect to pay this amount we would not be able to assist you unless you take a room in a boarding house with shared kitchen and bathroom.
At M-Power Accommodation - we offer visitors to Sydney that middle road option between the commitment of a residential lease and the expense of the hotel nightly stay. - With the exception of a minimum stay requirement, the apartments we rent to our clients are not usually constrained by a lease agreement - and stays can usually be shortened with prior arrangement and in most circumstances a bond is not charged - however a credit card is usually used to guarantee the booking.

The Serviced Apartments are usually located in a hotel environment with most of the services of a hotel - such as reception desk, weekly housekeeping service, pool, gym and parking. The weekly housekeeping is usually included in the quoted price for this kind of stay.
The self-serviced options are often cheaper and are privately owned apartments in residential buildings - made available for long stay visitors and corporate relocations.
For the self-serviced options - cleaning utensils are provided however it is the responsibility of the tenant to attend to the cleaning of the apartment during their stay - Also a departure cleaning fee is added to the cost of the rental
